Hello! It's Memorial Day as I type this, which means summer has officially begun. Time for some writing goals. Do you have a novel you want to finish or a story that needs editing or a poem you want to submit to a contest? Now is the time to put your heart and soul into your work, because you'll never have more time on your hands. (Until next summer, that is....)
So what are your summer writing goals? I want to finish writing Kai's Story, maybe even finish editing it, too. Also, I'd like to finish Shadows, the prequel to Shadows, at least one of my thief stories, and get a good start on Magical Objects.
Be ambitious. Summer is a time for dreams. Take on several projects at once, or several in a row at the very least. Where do you want to improve? If your poetry needs some work, like mine does, write a lot of poetry. The only way to really write well is to write a lot. That way you get all the crap out and can start writing good poems and stories. Summer is a time for writing in massive volume.
So, got your goals? Ready, set, write!

Hello, fellow writers! I love it when we can inspire each other and help one another grow. With this in mind, keep it friendly and on-topic.
Have a great day! ;)
