Happy Summer Break! You're done with school (or will be soon), you've moved the sundresses to the front of your closet, and there's a bottle of soda in the fridge with your name on it. But don't slack off yet, people. It's summer! It's time to write!
What are your summer writing goals this year? My first goal to learn how to write a good short story, namely by reading every short story I can find, and by practicing. My second goal is to finish the big important edits on the finished first draft of Shadows, preferably by the end of the month, so I can show it my mom... er, my beta readers.
Don't know what your goals should be? Well, ask yourself: is there some part of the craft of writing you'd like to get better at? Is there a story you'd like to finish? A poem you'd like to improve? You have three months to accomplish anything. Dream big--it's a cliche, but it's a good one.

Hello, fellow writers! I love it when we can inspire each other and help one another grow. With this in mind, keep it friendly and on-topic.
Have a great day! ;)
