Nutcracker Example Riddle
Who would expect a tool to dance?
To march, to fly, to spin, to prance?
Who would expect me to break my jaw?
(It was all her brother's fault!)
Who thought a sparkling doll could eat?
Could open treasure chests and steal the meat?
Who thought I was a prince of another land,
Turned ugly by a jealous rat-mother's hand?
I am nothing that I think, though you've seen me before--
Now let's venture into candy land, the kingdom I adore!
