Hey y'all,
If you're a faithful reader of this blog, then first of all, thank you! I am so grateful for your readership and I hope my posts are helpful to you (or at least a bit entertaining).
Second, you may have noticed that for the past couple of months, I've been a bit, well, inactive. The last time I posted a Quote of the Week was in... *races off to check* September. Oof. If you've been reading for a while, you know that when the Quote of the Week disappears, things are getting desperate.
Long story short, apologies for the unexpected hiatus. My first semester of university was a big adjustment, and between homework, class time, and writing time, the time I usually spent on this blog evaporated like mist.
Now that I have a semester of experience under my belt, I'm going to be more intentional about...
- Posting something every week
- Creating posts in batches when I have extra time
- Scheduling posts
...and ultimately creating more content for y'all to enjoy! Some things to look forward to in the future are:
- more installments to the As We Go Along snippet series (which will hopefully get a real title soon)
- the completion of the Four Correlations aesthetic series and the Symbolic Dichotomies theme series
- more updates about my own writing journey and what I'm learning
- more resources for Christian writers in particular
- and of course more prompts, writing advice, and fun posts for word lovers!
Thank you so much for your patience and readership. As we come out the Thanksgiving season and enter into Christmas, I find that one of the things in my life I'm most thankful for is the community of writers and readers who can share our joys, sorrows, and revelations.
Write On!

Hello, fellow writers! I love it when we can inspire each other and help one another grow. With this in mind, keep it friendly and on-topic.
Have a great day! ;)
